Hey Hey!!

Do you ever get sporadic spurts of energy where you just need to create something? Well, a couple weeks back I had this wonderfully random outburst of creative juices that needed to be given free reign!

This creative energy was set free by a spontaneous photoshoot with Be Lunar.

WooHoo!

Part of this creative outburst pushed me to try a new technique - Flat Lays. A Flat Lay is simply an image shot directly from above. With this we used boards which colour matched and complimented the products in need of being photographed. As you can see in the images above and below.

It was great experimenting with different props to add texture, height, depth, colour to create interest in the images. However, one thing I might do differently next time is to change up the lenses on my camera, as I used only one lens for this shoot… Although the lens I did use is my fave and go to lens (the beautiful 50mm).

What I love most about this brand is the individuality of each pair of earrings, just like each of us, no two earrings are the same. They are all of the same quality, but they are independently unique - I love it!
