Saturday afternoon, early February, as the light was going down - getting that beautifully soft directional light. We headed out to find some urban backdrops to match the style they were aiming for - something minimalistic and edgy. We photographed a selection of necklaces, earrings, sunglasses and bracelets.
Product photography captured in this setting gives the products a sense of tangibility, allowing the viewer, potential clients, to see what they would look like on and even image themselves wearing them. Personally, I believe this helps sell these kinds of products, its fashion, your customers want to be able to see the reality of what it may look like on them. Persuading them more so than just a studio image of the product might do, creating a personal connection to the product.

Lines and Current is a jewellery store based in Belfast Northern Ireland. They provide jewellery for the minimalistic girls , which is simple yet classy.
Personally, I have been following them for a little while, as their products suit my style and personality perfectly. A friend of mine is one of the content creators and social media managers for this small business. On a weekend away with friends in Birmingham, we decided on a spur of the moment collaboration.

Personally, I really enjoyed this whole process from idea to finished product. The style of photography they were looking for fit with my creative expression - focusing on the details, the person, the neutral colours, etc. To the editing process, which was challenging yet fulfilling and fruitful - they have become some of my favourite cohesive set of images.
