How I Got Started
Most people don’t know this, but I actually got started as a photographer because I wanted to be in a place where I could help others be comfortable in front of the camera, for them to enjoy themselves. At the time, I quickly fell in love with photographing friends and families because it made it possible for me to show them ways to move their body to gain confidence in themselves, and I knew right away that is what I wanted to do professionally. It took 8 years of hard work and dedication to become the photographer I wanted to be, and grow my business to what it is today.
Combining my passion for hyping up others in front of the camera, with one of the best things I learnt while studying photography at university - semiotics, the reading of an image. I am able to use this to help companies and individuals, present themselves online in a unique and authentic way, doing my best to capture their brand values and characteristics.
One of the first things to expect from me when we have our first call, is to answer a few questions about the story of your company, 3 words which describe your brand values, and 3 words which describe you (and your team). These three questions are super important in the preparation process of getting to know you, and to know how to best represent you - as individuals and as a company. The answers will have an effect on where the shoot would be set, the types of clothes you should wear, facial expressions, body language, props, etc. It excites me to learn about you, your brand, and then use that information to tailor the images to best represent you.
I truly believe I have the best job in the world and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Working with clients who value the hard work I put into the work I do is incredibly rewarding.
